As per China import details report, the top 10 trading partners for China imports were United States ($162 Billion), South Korea ($161 Billion), Japan ($160 Billion), Australia ($153 Billion), Russia ($125 Billion), Brazil ($120 Billion), Germany ($105 Billion), China ($102 Billion), Malaysia ($91 Billion) and Vietnam ($72 Billion).
During 2023. China's top 10 major import partners accounted for over $1.25 trillion with over 50.04% share in China's total imports. The latest China import figures of May 2024 depicts the USA as the top supplier to China with 9% growth in May. These were mainly crude oil, natural gas, steel, medicaments and plastics.
